Last Show Footage

Seems sad that the summer is over. We played a whole bunch of shows and I had the best time, but I'm concerned that we didn't play 100% or at least it didn't sound tight enough. If we're gonna do it again next year we're gonna have to really work hard. we shall see.

Summer!

I've decided i would continue this blog after a long time haha. Ive recorded four songs I know will make the record. Im thinking im gonna rename the album though, i have it called "Modern Ghost Town" right now, its about all the stages of love. I really wanted to tackle a concept album, and its definitely proven difficult!


First song is Foreshadow my love
Second is my lonesome heart
Fifth is take it back
Near the end is frost beneath our feet


I havent been writing as much as id like to only because i think ive been busy playing shows haha. Its been fun but stressful. I take myself way too seriously lol.

Wow, today it got cold but at least the sun is out.  I was thinking about the next couple of songs I'm writing.  I'm not sure what direction I'm going in with these new songs, but there's definitely a Radiohead influence and I dunno if that's where I want to go but that's definitely where it's going.


Regardless the songs sound good, so we'll see what comes of it.  Over the Summer I guess I'll start recording.  But I need to get my guitar fixed first lol.

The Beginning of the Resident Scout Blog

Alright, I figured I would start a blog just to talk about what I'm doing and how I feel in terms of everything relating to Resident Scout. woohoo!

So today I'm emailing other Nashville bands that I really like that maybe if they were nice enough would let us open for them this summer.  I can't wait to start playing these songs live, it's gonna be a lot of fun and I can't wait to play some NEW SONGS too!
